Types of presentation

Abstracts can be submitted for Symposium and Workshop Proposals or Oral and Poster presentation. In order that the Scientific Committee can manage a proper evaluation you must submit an abstract of 300 words maximum. Each abstract should include a correct description of objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions.

Symposia/Workshops must submit an overall abstract listing all presenters, title of speakers lectures and overall objective of the session.

The Abstracts must be written in English.

Author (s) will indicate the Topic that best fits their work. Please check the List of Topics

General Rules for Abstract Submission

  1. Abstracts must be sent through this website. Abstracts received by fax or mail will not be considered.

  2. Deadline for abstract submission:
    - 1 April 2013 for Workshops and Symposia
    - 1 June 2013 for Oral and Poster Presentation

  3. The presenting author of the abstract must be clearly identified with his/her name in bold and underlined. She/he must provide an email for contact.

  4. The author(s) will indicate the topic that best fits their work.

  5. Abstracts should include the following information:

    • Presenters/Authors (list all affiliations and professional positions)

    • Educational Objectives (50 words or less, at the conclusion of this presentation, the participants should be able to...e.g. demonstrate, recognize, diagnose, treat, etc.)

    • Purpose

    • Methods

    • Results

    • Conclusions

    • Literature Reference (maximum two)

    • Other considerations that you would like the Scientific Program Committee to know
       

  6. Abstract not to exceed 300 words.

  7. The Abstracts must be written in English

  8. All abstracts received will be evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers, and subsequently submitted for consideration to the Scientific Committee of Congress.

  9. The presenting author must be registered for the Congress before 1 July 2013.
